Zone Meeting Report September 15, 20091.

1. Donated $1000.00 to local Seafest summer festival.

2. Donated $5000.00 to Chamber of Commerce 250th Anniversary Project - project includes entertainment stage, town clock and murals.

3. Sold tickets on two occasions on sailing pram - approx $700.00

4. Assisted in purchase of eyeglasses for 12 needy recipients - $1500.00

5. Held a BBQ for residents of Queen's Manor Home for Special Care - provided the food and the entertainment and Lions served - cost $325.00

6. Donated $500.00 to local Woodsmen's Competition

7. Donated $5000.00 to sponsor the Privateer Day's parade.

8. Entered a float in the Privateer Day's parade.

9. Entered a float in the Queen's County Fair parade.

10. Fed the parade bans in the Privateer Day's parade - cost $450.00

11. Four members sold tickets on the Rubber Duck Race for Privateer Day's (total of 36 hours)

12. Donated $160.00 to assist the North Queens Fire Dept. in Red Sticker campaign.

13. Donated $500.00 to the Emily Fund for an Insulin Pump.

14. Donated $1 per member to Int. Directors Fund.

15. Plans for Speak Out and Peace poster are underway.
