Donated $6,000 to sponsor a Lions Foundation of Canada's CVC dog guide
RADIO BINGO BENEFITS: Queens County fire departments and first responders each received $2,500 from our club.
SPECIAL GUEST: Peter Fountain director for Habitat for Humanity speaking to club members regarding their new project.
GUEST SPEAKERS: Region of Queens representatives spoke to the Lion members about the progress being made with with Queens Place.
SPEAK OUT CONTESTANT: Candace Langille, speaking on Going Green, was our club's contestant at the zone 9 speak-out held recently in New Germany. Zone Chairman Dave Baugil is shown presenting her with a trophy and cheque.
SENIOR'S ACTIVITY: On April 14th our club hosted a card party for seniors with prizes and refreshments..
DOG GUIDE SPONSORSHIP : Lion Bob Trainor, secretary, presented Lions Foundation of Canada District Chair with a $6,000 cheque for the sponsorship of a Canine Vision Canada Dog Guide..
